£500 for a RECON GTI gearbox plus free installation.

Featured Replies

Its for my Loop Sport (which is a LuPolo if you get what I mean).

£500 for a 5-Speed RECON Lupo GTI gearbox + VAT, I drive there in the morning, they fit it for free, I drive away the same day.

No more revving the tits off my engine doing 70mph in top gear.

Good deal?

Yeh I gathered that, I think its well worth it for the asking price though compared to VW themselves.

I see how my Loop drives when I get it back from VW (they stole it from me).

If the gears are still stiff then I'll go for it and let everyone know if it was worth it or not. Should be worth it though.

Nick.

thats good mate i just paid 500 for mine then 350 to get it fitted!

whats a non fitted price????

a gearbox swap is very sraight forward and can be done by using a set of axle stands, 2 jacks, and socket set in under 2hrs - on your own!

id spend a day on my back to save £100-200,

id pick peanuts out of poo if they paid me enuf thinking about it! :o
