Beast!!! Nice spec there. 1W blocks are just different stroke right?

How far off 'till it runs currie??

What have you done to the chassis to strengthen it??

Reading the spec, i'd would suggest a 51mm throttle body would be a good idea mate.

Very nice spec. How much of a pain was the omp cage to fit?

Beast!!! Nice spec there. 1W blocks are just different stroke right?

Different crank, rods, bigger clearance for the bigger crank and rods, no provision for knock sensor, different head bolts

Beast. R5GTT racers beware

also has oil jets and it does have provision for knock sensor.. now

Giorgio - a pain, i wouldnt want to fit it to a car i wasnt prepared to have a blat with the welder on - that said i have a sunroof so all the legs had to be chopped down, fitted into a non sunroof i think it wouldnt be too bad.

Gregg - this current spec is only to get it run in, am planning on switching over to emerald so will be able to use a different TB all together and one with provision for throttle pot. also the turbo is a temporary idea.

i have seamed the front engine mount where they always go and triangulated down in the corner. should have a subframe before its running any serious power and am hoping that will hold things together.

Car Is Awesome!!!

Mental cool. I'm takin pointers here, me and my mate decided in a few years when the R plates are down we're gona each build a trackday monster, so I'll be keepin my 1.0 Polo and doin sumthan similar enginewise!!

Hope you've got a nice noisy dump valve to let people know you're turbo'ed!!

Looking good dude, will be a serious beast when its done!

hell no! recirc all teh way111

not really into the dump valve stigma, can sound good but whenever i hear one i just assume its a speaker so I'm going stealth.

should be nice and quiet this one, bout the same as a noisey GT. :D

Don't lie, you love the dumpage.

no mr barrymore

Lol I would paint the wheel centres red along with a red GT badge on the grille and one on the bootlid for the sheer unusualness of it...

unfortunately the red has been peeled off the bumpers although it has been experimented with around the lips of the wheels but had a habit of peeling off.

planning on getting some new wheels when its complete and works.

update: got the fmic all sorted and a new lower support bar made up, also drilled and tapped out the feet for the front half of the cage, tidied up in the engine bay a bit and as soon as i get studs for the turbo will see about mockin up the exhaust.

stealth beast...

I love the idea of a stealth car lol, maybe fitted with infra red cameras and large screens for night driving without headlights. Note this is a very un-responsible idea and i withdraw it immediantly...

nutcase but i like it!

quick question.. what does the 1w bottem end come from ?
