i have a mark 4 1.4 16v and getting parts for it is a nightmare, bt i love the way it drives bt am thinking of gettin a 2001 mark 5 diesel polo or a polo gti. i ve heard that the diesel is only £35 to road tax 4 the year. so what do you think i should do.

Get tdi and get it remapped, best of both worlds that way plenty of performance and torque and only £35 tax :D

rather good isn't it, I'm paying £99 for 6 months :disgust:

costs the same to insure a 4.6 litre range rover...

i agree with him getting parts is actually a nightmare i need a new bonnet and light for my mk5 and i can't seem to find them anywhere! i've never seen a mk5 in a scrap yard lol !!

i ve searched salavge yards and cant find a set of mark 4 16v clock for a couple of months.
