Haha.. Will aka. PoloFresh now Mr Fresh and i fitted our FK coilovers this weekend - His Mk1 Golf being the easier of the 2 as you may 'ALL' already know haha - His Golf took an hour and a half my car took 10hrs (purley the fronts) rears dropped out and bolted in a treat as expected!!!

Mk1 polos Grrr.. I hadnt long ago fitted the 60/80 kit back in august for Edition so everything had been copper greased etc.. hahaha the story continues: We eventually got there and i managed to squeeze in some time to spray my wheels!!!

Non the less i now have the ability to adjust the height as and when i wish with the help of the C's - Just need to lose these standard 165/60's so i can turn without folding the arch out.. Not that theres a lot left of them!!

I've just popped home from work for abit of lunch and thought i'd treat you all to a couple of quick pics.. Must dash!!

how much were the fk's if you dont mind me asking?

and were they built on a strut exchange basis?

have you fitted mk3 spec front brakes or spaced the originals?

only reason i ask... i had loads of hassles fitting my custom made Gaz coils to my mk1, the guys at the Phirm worked on it for about 7 hours!

My mk1 has that same shade of grey plastics. I'm sure there meant to be black but I always leave mine cause I think they look awesome grey, lol.

I originally got the coilies from someone on here for £350 there fk highsports.

Think james must be one of very few people rocking coilies on a mk1 polo well in england anyway.

We might have to upgrade his brakes now thinking about it cause they got seized on yesterday on the way to a meet! bastards!

Did you say 6" and lower profile? 145/60 R13 stretches perfect over a 6" rim, perfect I tell thee!

Either that or a 165/55 R13 but I'd go for the 145/60 R13s personally, get the stretch going on!
