Ok i've got an 82 mk1 gti in really rather tidy nick all round.

I'd like to sell / swap / PX for a Polo - ideally a MK4 or maybe Mk3 GT Coupe. Any engine except 1.6.

Good bits:

MK1 1.6 GTi, 110bhp 5 Speed Box.

Body has no notable rust (has had full respray in the past) only one crusty spot on the passenger a pillar, interior is very good no rips in the seats etc.

Engine has been rebuilt (full reciepts available) and many new parts fitted. new injector seals etc.

Fuel system (filler , tank, pipes etc) all replaced, loads of other new parts incl electrics, steering rack etc.

Totally stock and unmolested!

10 Months MOT & 2 months Tax

Bad bits:

Has leak from exhaust downpipe (good second hand one supplied)

Currently a non runner due to low fuel pressure. Most likely fuel pump failing (external pump). The car starts, revs and idles but will not run under load due to the low fuel pressure. SPARE PUMP INCLUDED

Rear window heater not working (element on the glass is damaged).

horn doesn't work (earth wire not reconnected when new steering rack fitted).

Looking for £1200 ono for very quick sale as it is, i really dont have the time to get this sorted and i need a good reliable car to get me to work, i've got too many other projects!

Car is located in Enfield North london just off jnc 24 or 25 of the M25.

quite keen on a deal with a gt coupe pref stock mechanically (want to preserve as much reliability and economy as poss), but subtle mods ok esp a tickle with the lowering stick

been messed around too much on this now! Want it gone so make an offer if your interested. Would also be up for a deal with a mk4 polo of any description.
