Done a bit of work on saturday on it, Lowered it 40mm and put a set of Ronal LS 15''x7.5'' wrapped in 195/50 firestones.And this is how it now looks

Not a gti just a 1.4, but it does have fog lamps you just cant see them.

looks cool but personally i would have got coilovers and decked it and gone for 195/45's as apposed to the 50's. still looks fresh though!

looking nice but as said would of gone for 45's, also the difference in the ride between 40mm and 80mm springs isn't really noticable, i had both before i got my coilovers.

You should go lower, I'm down 35 at the moment. You can comfortably go down 60cm and still go over speedbumps perfectly fine. Obviosly its your car and I'm not going to telll you what to do, but rims like the ronal LS and the BBS in my opinion look a bit out of place when there is a pretty big arch gap like that.

No thats pretty much it, just get the spoiler fixed, when i got it painted the first time there was a deformity in the paint, so am getting that fixed free off charge.

I think that sits perfectly if its a daily driver. If people tell you it should be lower just tell them that you actually have mates and you give them lifts. The lower your car the less mates you have! Ronals look good on it too as said 45 profiles may of been a bit better but there must only be a few mm in difference.
