I've still got the camera incase twig'n'marbles action was in popular demand

I need to get the MOT and RR day out of the way before I start preparing for the DCOE's, as well as getting in touch with Brentacre about insurance as I will be 19 ON the RR Day.

I also want to get a cylinder head ported with 3-cut valves before I fit the carbs. I'll be doing the porting and rebuilding, I'll be sending the head to get the valve seats recut at Coventry Boring and Metalling.

So all in all, I'd say it'll be around 2-3 months yet.

I very much look forward to it, I can't forget that this is the car I practically learnt to drive in. Little under 2 years ago, it was sat somewhere in liverpool with a big fat 'thank you for not smoking' sticker in the middle of the dash before it was taken as my first car, now approaching the biggest kick in the balls it has had in it's existence. Driving out of the pits at mallory park on it's first trackday this summer (fingers crossed) onto the main circuit will be a tender moment.

Got some brand new Lucas mirrors which I shall be painting white to replace my current tired units. Will look good as new and it's been a long time coming.
