received a set of teledials yesterday the deeper ones, think the et is 23.3? they're not that bad, but could stil do with refurbing. without soundin like a complete noob, how long do i rub down for? like what finish do i rub down too? hope that actually makes sense.

Hmmm, kinda interested in this aswel. More of the fact that I have sanded down the lips of my Ronal, how do I polish them back up??

Well it depends what you are going to do with them afterwards. If you are going to polish them then you need to go back to the bare metal. If you are going to paint them again then you only have to have a smooth service to paint on.

Basically you use increasing grades of Wet'n'Dry up to 1800 or above (I think) and you can get a polishing kit from eBay where you have different polishing compounds and mops that 'polishes' the metal untill it shines. This guy is great for polishing kits and very quick delivery.

Keep rubbing till rubbing no longer makes any difference to the finish your getting. Then move onto the next grade. Assuming your polishing I mean.

Paint wise, get some red scotch and use that, then prime it, then paint it.
