I've got the same problem with my GT, but fortunately I've got access to a GT engined mk2 to swap bits off.

I've already ruled out the Hall sender and I'll try the blue temp sender tomorrow, but i need to know how do you clear the ECU fault codes?

Does it do it itself if the faulty items replaced or do you need to disconnect it or the battery?

Also both cars have different dizzies on, my part# ends in P (proper GT dizzy?), my mates in AA, yet his motor seemed to pull stronger even when mine was running fine.

What the difference between them (the dizzies) and does it mean that my GT's been carrying a problem for ages anyway?

well had a go at turning it over and it went, ticked over fine drove much better but still had the judder but didnt cut out, so what ever it is seems to be ever changing, one min its ok, then nothing, then just a bit. I've now gone completly buld

good now check ht leads pull them off one at a time check for deposits in plug caps if it looks powderery change them

ok will do but last time i checked they were spotless.

HT lead could be broken inside?

Could be coil, but generally they either work or don't.

Is it any different with a full tank of fuel?

I know on newer cars high octane petrol can help to sort out idleing.

yeah repalcaed the plugs and leads, changed the coil, it dosent seem to matter how much fuel is in there, but the car did run out of fuel once do you think it could have damaged the pump? I've got a new one to try anyway.

just got in from working on the car, and i think I've found the problem, injector O ring, 1 injector seems really lose give it a wiggle then the car runs fine, drive it for a while then it starts again. pulled over wiggled it about then it was fine again,

what you reckon? could this be the cause?
