quinn direct n mods

Featured Replies

yeah been reading alot lately about insurance companys and prices and the modifications and who will insure you and how much it would put your premium up.

Quinn direct is one of the cheapest insurers i come across...I'm with them, alot of ym mates are and alot of people on forums are..

the best thing is that they only make you pay for engine mods, any other mods they jsut ask you to declare so that in the event of a crash its all written down. So for my lowering and rims it means io dont pay a penny extra :-D

anyone else with quinn?

lets face it tho if we were over 25 insurance wouldnt be a problem lol

they charged me £80 for lowering the car

they charged me £80 for lowering the car

who did?

quinn

Yeah, Quinn seem very good, specially with young drivers, I'm with them

I'm 17.. got a quote via the "amend policy" section of their website to add new wheels, suspension and brakes and it was completely free, was interested more than anything as I can't really afford the latter two but is good to know

was also suprised to see adding "air filters" modification when getting a quote didn't raise the premium, whether that means performance panel filters or full blown induction kits I'm not sure

Only thing I'm sceptical about is how little info you can give on the website, eg could imagine getting a quote for "suspension" and it not changing it, but then that could just be uprated springs and shocks at the same ride height, as opposed to lowering

I'll look into it as my insurance is due in Feb. Currently haven't got anything declared cos a messed up situation so i'm determined to do so this time around. You may think being 25 means no insurance issues but i'm currently paying £1600 TPFT on my 16v! Also need to do research on which will compensate better for mods and which only repalce with OEM parts.

i cant seem to get insured on brentacre or adrien flux as I'm still only 17. Quinn seems to help us young ones out quite abit and I'm even more happy with them now as they dont charge for the mods i want to make. Will be staying with them i thinks.

ring them up, tell them what you have done. Simple really :D

I think you need to be 19 to go with Brentacre.

i'm with quinn, i think they're really good, my first years insurance was £1184 and my second year was only £578 or something, but then i am 21

I've found that changing engine size and everything via. the amend policy sometimes doesnt make a difference unless you change the registration number to... its weird I think its an error on the site!!

yeah when i got my quote on my old corsa it was about 150 cheaper to get a quote at my dads house in devon rather than preston

then when i had the quote i amended the quote to my house in preston and it didnt change

950 for an 18 year old on a corsa sport 1.6 16v = 8-)

quinn are crap for me.

did a quote last night and they wanted £2500 for my mk3 1034 coupe.

i am 17 and live in the lowest postcode risk

oh right, out of interest I went to add an engine modification "+ power" I think it was called and a page came up saying to ring them, obviously they need more details to give a quote

I'm with quinn but not in the insurance, in the manufactoring

he's the richest man in ireland

6-7 billion i think

that quote was prob online. Ring them up, its alot cheaper!

i rang them and the quoted me the same.:(
