the bush at the bottom on a mk3 is slightly different, although you may be able to nick the one off your old shocks.

they would go straight on a mk4 tho

u would need to get a few washers for the bottom to space it out, and maybe remove the helper springs.

why remove the helper springs? theres like 50mm+ of adjustment and the helper springs are only about 4lb/inch rated so they go coilbound instantly.

you need to keep the helper springs so that you can use all your adjustment and not have the main spring with no tension on it at full damper extension!

when i got my philj ones he told me to remove the helper springs. i haven't had any dramas so far.

they do fit and are fitted, i had to fabricate a spacer for the bottom! Car scrapes like hell now lol...

Need to adjust them more!
