1964 Beetle Deluxe, original 1200 engine, never been restored apart from a re-spray some years ago :-D

Here's mine, a 1972 1302LS running a 1641cc lump with cam. Makes motorway cruising quite fun ;)

Currently I'm fitting new heater channels to it so it's tucked away in the unit :-(

Non of that breaking down lark for me :-p I go to most if not all the shows. If you get to the Volksworld Show at Sandown end of March I'll be there in it in the Restowagen line-up around the winners enclosure ;)

However my previous of a few air cooled after 5 years decided to spend a year on the hard shoulder :lol:

Correct Java Green indeed, the only year they did it for the small window bugs :-D I had a 1641 lump in an old 1970 bug, went really well too. Nice ride by the way 8-)
