Yeah I've seen a handful of H plate mk2s. But I'm guessing they are quite rare?

I'm guessing it'll be a spaniard. Its an F plate (think that makes it an 88?). I'm pretty sure F plate is a very late one, cause H is when the 2F came into play wasn't it?

Forgot to mention it comes with a spare carb and inlet manifold as well.

My old loon was an F.. that was 88 and a spaniard. F is 89 also.

Think they were german-built up to 87?

I'm picking it up tomorrow so I'll have more pics and info on it then.

Well excited, most people would be depressed going from a modern car with all the toys to someone basic as fook

I thought it was 85 that VW shifted to spain?

I hate opinions, so far I've met one girl outside of this forum who likes mk3 coupe's. Even my sister calls mine the "Shitbucket" and its mint too?! Old cars get no credit!! Mines withstanded 16 years!!

Just think.. less means more

Possibly, my Coupe S is an 87.. i chased up the VIN No. and it was assembled in wolfsburg. The plate on the slam panel has made in Germany on it too.

Maybe the "basic" models and poss saloons were built in spain from an earlier date?

Hey Kam, you know mk2 breadvans make sense!

I hate MK6s, they just look like a Lupo that ate all the pies!

It was funny when I test drove it, the Lupo has awesome brakes for such a little car. Pressed the brakes on that mk2 and jack shit happened. Was quality, I just burst out laughing cause I forgot how bad they are. hahaha.

Its been left in a damp garage for about 5 years so the exterior is a bit tatty, but the interior was mint and the engine runs really nice and smoothly. Well, I've only done 60 miles yet, but those 60 miles were nice and smooth

Today I start pimping wheels for it 8-)

Mines withstanded 16 years!!

pffft, only 16. 20 and still going strong. Well, kinda.

welcome to mk2 ownership, sooooo much cooler then its modern equivalent.
