Mk2s of anything are the best

Personally I think out of all the best Polos (mk1-3) mk2 squares are the ugliest.

But thats why I want one, so I can make it lovable

Could be a german one kam, have a look at the vin plate when you get it. You can get german ones up to as late as G reg, it's just the luck of the draw.

I miss my white mk2 square, but my saloon is due back fairly soon so it'll do as an approximation.

I was thinking about putting my G60 steels on the breddy but decided against it. lol.

Where you been hiding Gaz? What do I look for in the vin plate that will let me know if its a German or a Spaniard?

Type your VIN in here and it should tell you. Don't say in the Vin plate? My G reg Mk2 says West Germany.

I decided I wanted to roll my BBS RMs on it. Only thing is I ran them over winter and they got totally ruined so they were in need of a refurb. So I though I might as well crack on with that today. Although I didn't get far because of the rain!!

Proper rough as fuck

I couldn't find the correct drill bit to put the socket on a drill so had to remove all 120 bolts by hand :(

Top one I cleaned for ages with warm soapy water and then autosol'd. Came up okay, but not where near as good as I wanted it to. But just for comparisons sakes! Hopefully there won't be TO much involved in getting them back to a complete mirror finish!

Also the previous owner had some pretty ghetto ideas of how speakers should be mounted. Although on the drivers side it wasn't to bad, but passengers side was terrible!!

After some time being sat in diet coke and some loving with a tooth brush my brown bolts were chrome again! Hooray!

Loving this project dude, my first motor was a white mk2 square and i've had a soft spot for them ever since. Gunna own one again soon and G it i think. Itching to see what the rm's will look like on so make it happen.
