Well seeing as the other halfs car arrives soon it’s time to get rid of the current one;

I will get pictures up over the weekend as I’m nowhere near the car at the moment. This car was my run around for 2 years before getting the Arosa, as I was commuting into central London every day it barely got used during the week & not a lot more during the weekend either, as a result I only put about 10,000 miles on it in just over 2 years. Despite barely being used it was maintained regardless of cost.

Shortly after I bought the Arosa the OH finally decided to take her driving test & passed so I decided to give her this car. However, before I gave her the car I had it fully serviced, 4 new tyres fitted, new Bilstein shocks & Eibach lowering springs, new exhaust & Supersprint rear box, new disks, pads, shoes & fluid change, new rear engine mount & clutch cable (common failure every 40,000 miles or so). Since then (2 years ago) the car has only covered a ridiculous 800 miles!!!!

The car itself is in good condition, the interior is immaculate like it just came out of the factory, and the bodywork has no rust whatsoever, & the engine starts first time every time & has never missed a beat. I will check But I'm certain it still has 2 months tax & 2 months MOT left. Obviously a 10yr old car will have a couple of bad points & these are;

Minor parking dents

Exhaust occasionally knocks the heatshield (only in reverse) a minor adjustment will sort it.

Alloys are a bit scabby.

Clutch cable needs adjusting (30 min job)

Rear drum adjusters need replacing (where they seized because it sat for so long!)

We need this shifted quick so it’s up for a bargain £500 no offers!

Just found a 1.2 carb that was fully stripped cleaned & slightly fettled to be fitted, its been proven to give about 4-5bhp & sort out the flat spots in the power band. Dont laugh, 5bhp is a 10% power increase in a bean can car Also found a spare clutch assembly that will go with it too (not that it needs one yet).

Just found all the receipts, history, MOTs etc for this.... Its actually only done 8,000 miles in 4 years!!! Current MOT runs out on the 5th of April, I'm having a few issues with getting photos uploaded (mislaid my data cable) should hopefully have some up tomorrow though :)

P.S. Might swap for a decent set of rims or W.H.Y (I just wont tell the missus!)

Yep, I've got a couple of people interested at the moment. One guy is travelling up from Bournemouth on Saturday so I've given him 1st refusal as he's travelling so far, after that its a free for all!

Also dug up a few more parts to go with the car including a full clutch assembly, a few aux belts & a pair of new rear brake cylinders. Forgot to mention earlier that this has a factory fitted Cat 2 imobiliser & comes with the all important red 'Master' key.
