Bugger me sideways I'm lucky. Walked away from that without a scratch on me. My bike and camera in the back came out without a scratch on them, and its not even going through insurance as the recovery costs are less than my exess.

I was just doing my normal comute down some back roads, and the rear end stepped out, I over corrected and the car whent off the road and rolled into some woods. Came to a hault with me still holding the steering wheel, so I un-buckled my self, turned everything off, kicked a window out and ran to the other side of the road as it was pissing the 40 quid of fuel I put in yesterday everywhere. Even the police said it was pretty un-avoidable and not to blame myself. Just a really shitty peice of off camber road that has woodland run-off flowing across it 24/7

God damnit I'm lucky. Someone must be looking over me or something

You've got the right mindset by the sounds of things dude. You're very lucky mate and as the cliche says "its only metal" at the end of the day

Yeah, most important of all is that you're ok Robin.

'Tis a bastard though, really sorry for you mate.

Cheers,

Richard.

Haha, yeah. it is a nice bike, 2007 norco 250, bought it last week, theres 7 of the in the country. It was pretty much the first thing I asked the police about, when I could get my bike out of the back!

I am indeed stupidly lucky. Just gotta find out about those advanced driving courses now. I'm not going near a car again untill I can control under/over stear as if it was 2nd nature. Then I'll be on the look out for a nice tidy 5 door mk2 golf GTD.

Oh man that was a sweet looking car! what u gonna drive now?

is the polo in a state to drive?

good to hear you were alright though.

*Looks at rollcages for Mk2 Golfs*

Haha, the car actually did a bloody good job of protecting me. even rollcage-less the B and C pillars stayed perfectly intact. Ideally I want a mk2 golf again greg, preferably a deisel, but maybe a high milage A4 avant or a passat. I want something I can chuck the bikes in.

The polos currently missing, an engine, wheels, seats, suspension, a rear beam, front TCA's. Well, you get the idea.

fookinell mate that looks nasty, lucky fu.cker.shame looked like a nice golf too..glad you and the bike are ok though, atleast you can ride everywhere now ay :)
