hope this is in the right place?

well anyway, my names martin, i'm 19(20 next month yay lol) am from scunthorpe.

i'm looking to buy my 1st VW in the form of a mk3 coupe. a few mates have them, ones a gt and the other is a 1.3CL realy nice cars, and look well built, and i'm into my small cars..

I'm not new to the modded car scene but i am new to VeeDubs

I've Attached 2 pics of my previous car, and my current one.

some of you hull peeps will reconise the red one, its from hull a mate used to own it i bought it of him but lost interest.

anyhow I'm just looking for abit of advise on what to look for when i'm viewing a polo before choosing my future project.

Mk3 coupe is a good choice though, that was my first (and so far only) Dub but I loved it.

When viewing one just basically look for rust in all the usual places and make sure the engine has been well maintained, most are bullet proof anyway (unless I get my hands on it ) so if its been looked after it should be fine.

grey nova now has a smooth bay and 2.0 installed, i sold it to a mate whos done a fine job with it.
