Wheel spacer help please

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a set of speedline 6x14 wheels with a et38 offset for my mk4 polo and before i lower it and put wheels on i want some wheels spacers so i know how much to lower it by and it wlll be like christmas morning all done in one day. I want to make the wheels stick out of the arches an average amount (a fair bit) is 20mm spacers with that offset and width about right or too much?? Plus wheres the cheapest place to get them from?

Please help thanks in advance

someone must have some idea BUMP! is 30mm is what I'm thinking is that too much with that offset

Sticking them out the arches is a bad idea because if your tyre tread sticks out it is illegal. And you ain't gonna be getting any worthwhile stretch on a 6J!

20mm spacers will push the tyres to just behind the arch if you are lucky. 30mm would probably do the trick, but good luck to your wheel bearings and cv joints etc.
