and some recent (bad quality phone pics) pictures with my new wheels (13x7" ET-7 Compomotive MS with 175/50 a539s on), yes they do rub a bit:

How much do they rub by if you dont mind me asking? I'm guessing they stick out a fair bit wit an ET like that

What make of suspension have you got?

get sum red strips in the bumpers.... should l.uk good wit the rims

overall looks like a nice car man!

they rub a lot, I'm goint to have to either roll the arches slightly or notch up the rears on the philj 60/40 kit. fortunately the arches just cover the tread on the front

yeh looks sweet mate,i like the red and like AD said get some red tape in the bumpers, will look nice, notch the rear end up(nose heavy ftw IMO) red centres look ace matey...saw the wheels the other day on polo3 :) white mk3's FTW

Just get the rubbing sorted and youll be away, but i can see you having to stick the arches on.

no red strips needed and dont you even dare think about changing the colour of the centers :x

The rear had to be stripped to stop the rubbing so I'm going to carpet it at some point ready for summer when I get a cage in there

I think they would look pimp with CC centres or Black centres ..

Or maybee a red bead around the bumpers like said and keepin the red centres .

I love White Mk3's too :-D

Your car is looking very clean and tidy .. Top Job

lookin good

And the dash mod to allow it to fit in a mk3 (mk3 dash is bigger than a mk2 dash).

Pictures of the clearance issues with the GT seats back in:

Door pod touching the front hoop (because its not bolted down the cage has enough flex to allow the door to close but when bolted in it'll need the door pocket removing and possibly the window winders shortening):

This is how it all looks from outside:

Other mods not listed include:

K&N panel filter

Poloace 8k chip

GED style brace bars (front and rear)

Straight through centre section

Drilled airbox

Home ported head (still finishing the ports off)

Had the rolling road read 82.3bhp last year with the dodgy dizzy timing, hoping to beat 100-110bhp with the bike throttle bodies and megasquirt ecu, after that I'll pop a cam in and see how much difference it makes.
