15" 5.5J bmw mini pepperpot refurbs Edit (fitted to the MkII olop)

Featured Replies

bought them last summer as new with nothing wrong with them and then proceded to mess them up properlytaking the paint off then to get the rims back to alloy.

lost interest and they sat in the shed all winter until I got the tyres cheap from my tyres so decided to get them finished.

will end up polished rims with colour coded centers (stratos blue) to go on a Mk2 square with 60/40 (poss no arch work though???)

Got 165/50/15 bridgestones for them

part through priming

Tidy, Look very nice. I was going to get a set, but they just wern't wide enough for my old one, and the bore was too small having to get them machined out was hassle, so I ended up with a Steffans!

They are nice!

If I have a square that's what i'd put on it. Nice and skinny :)

you've still got them then! they look superb! you've done a really nice job on them! the wolfsburg badges set them off nicely too i think! should go on a bready just fine. i didnt have any probs running 6j wide 15s on my old square

yep still haven't got the car on the road yet but thought I'd get the wheels sorted. the colour is much closer in daylight to the car and the dish looks much bigger in the pic, but they should look good with the tyres on

makes me wish i had never sold them!

updated in post one with the wheels now fitted

ace

They look sweet.. good effort, the centre badges look good too 8-)

Fantastic job of refurb, match the car great 8-)

I've been wary of putting bigger wheels on a mk2 square but it just goes to show with the right offset and tyres it works, nice one.

got about 10mm spare in the rear arches as they are so might try some 6mm spacers (spigots are massive on the back anyway). the wheels are a bit tight on the inside, not touching the suspension but a bit too close.

anyone got some 6mm's they want rid of??
