audi leather seat in mk3 polo

Featured Replies

bought a set of audi leathers seats off of retro-rides for the bargain price of £80, they were filthy but have cleaned up ok!!

first off i had to destroy the passenger seat to rob its subframe, yet more fun with the angle grinder!

seatbase removed i was left with this

next i removed the subframes from the audi seats, then butted up the polo subframe to them. secured them in place with cable ties! dont worry I'm gonna be welding them on! couldnt resist fitting the pass one, as its rare for anyone to sit in it anyway!

nope your all wrong! apparently they were out of an early 90s audi coupe! got some colour co-ordintated ideas going on for the rest of the interior, thinking of doing the bottom half of the dash and door cards in the same colour as the new seats

i would think they are out of an audi 80 coupe as i have just bought a set of grey fabric ones this morning and have just found out the base width is to big so i will have to to weld the audi seat base to the polo seat frame

where did you drag this old thread up from!? turned out the seats were from a vauxhall calibre and not from an audi as the person i bought them from said.

wonder where the seats are now, they arent in that car anymore, i know that much.

Beautiful, shame about the vauxhallness of these seats ;p

edit: i love random thread resurrections!
