the bracket on the chassis for the backbox have been bent for some reason but all my tools are back at home and i'm at uni now with the car, the backbox is hanging now and could do with tieing up, any quick fix i could do until i get back home?

Cable ties? But you'd have to have to tie them to the rubber mountings, otherwise they'll melt

coat hanger. there should be a hole in some box section behind the bracket.

or you can tie the tailpipe to something in the boot

Or get a mate to hang out the boot with some gloves on to hold it

Strip an mains electrical cable down, nice strong copper wire, doesnt matter if it gets hot either!

Having a roof rack and carrying around rope worked out useful for me

mine fell off when the mounts rusted and someone tied it all up with copper wire 'temp' and thats the way it stayed for at least another six month till got rid of it and never failed!

thats what i've got on mine,aswell as the standard rubbers!

Wire, or just take the back box off lol.

Cable ties FTW, my Polos exhaust was constantly on cables ties except for its mot when i changed to shitty rubbers

Coathanger was my solution and it never worked loose either

coathanger for the win. mine stayed like this for ages till i just bolted it to the bottom of the car lol.

Shoe laces worked for me Had to drive home in my socks tho, as my shoes wouldn't stay on, lol. I'm using some thick electric cable wrapped round my tail pipe now :-D
