I had the Clifford on the car since I bought it nearly 4 years ago. I have started to use the spare as the original has stopped working. I tries a new battery but still no joy.

Looking at it in more detail there seems to be no 'click' when the button is pressed so I am guessing no connection in the circuit. I figured it just wear and tear on the connection.

So now that I am on the spare I was wondering where do I go to get another spare for when this one starts to play silly buggers!

Will I need to get another fob reprogrammed???? Where from as the original installer is 100+ miles away and cannot get the day off to visit them....

well. if your the original owner it will be under warranty. or go to your local dealer use this web site to find that CLIFFORD What alarm is it? some remotes are repairable all will need programing in but its easy to do i can talk you throgh that no probs.

some dealers will send you one prices start around £40

Does it have some kind of Life time warranty???

I did not know that. Its a G4 Concept 300 from memory with a few add ons or possibly Concept 400.

I am the original owner so still have the certificates and everything!

has 5 buttons and a blue LED on it

can be easily programmed yourself by using the instruction manuals found on the clifford website

yea you should have warrenty with the place that fited it, should be life time on that if you have your recept i know k & m would sort it if they fitted it.

that remote is early g5 i think mate not g4.if it it has a clifford buttern defo g5 so wont program in.

they should sort the remote for you. if you remove your batt does the batt carrier look disconected from the circut board? prob that.

i just looked at that he recons it will mmmmm it sort of will just not all the corect functions on a concept 300.

plus if can get a new one and he old one programed out for free y not.

may be worth a service also.

cool no bother think i was thinking of the cliff net wizard computer program dont think that can be used if you use valet should be ok.

if he has it, should have or know it if hes origanal owner

yea under bonet switch door and boot switches prox sensor etc just make sure it ALL works as it should cos its geting on abit now that alarm.

Cheers lads but I think I will go down the dealer route in the first instance seen as though these alarms don't come cheap and I would need to repropram the thing!

guess best thing to check first is the warranty an guarantee!
