A mouse in the works

Featured Replies

Went to pick up my brother today - travelling down a 50mph road and all of a sudden a mouse crawls out my bonnet and just perches next to my wiper! :?:lol:

I swear I heard about a mouse under a bonnet on here before? Had to nudge my wiper and it started walking up the windscreen until it flew off :paranoid:

Anyone else found anything random under their bonnet at 50mph? :lol:

it must be a welsh thing :lol:

A mouse mate, not a sheep :lol:

moddest mouse :lol::lol::lol:

thats strange cus yesterday i fote i herd a mouse scream under the bonnet or jus were the heaters are at the wipers when i started my car up and blasted the heaters on full whack...heard a long scream.. for few seconds. dnt knw what it was. lol

My actual worst fear when driving is a rodent popping out. I would actually pull over and just refuse to drive until it had been removed...the pulling over may involve girlish screaming.

I would feel the same if i saw a Spider too. Damn it I'm such a girl at heart lol.

That wasent a mouse mate that was your engine

My car had trouble starting earlier in the day too :ninja:

I would have stopped to let him off but it was a fast road :lol::paranoid:

it would probably be fine anyway as long as it didnt get run over

apparently you can drop them out of a plane and because they're so light their terminal velocity isnt enough for them to get hurt when they hit the floor lol not sure if thats true or not but i saw it on tv haha

i thought every things terminal velocity was about 125mph? the weight just factors how quickly it gets there?

rofl

in a lolcatz styley

"i iz in you engine bay, ninjarin up you wirin!"

Found evidence of a mouses nest in an air filter once.

it must be a welsh thing :lol:

well il admit to being very suprised if you can manage to make a sheep pop out from under the bonnet as you drive down the road!!!

:lol::lol::lol:

apparently accordin to a website i found you can drop a mouse down a thousand-yard mine shaft; and, on arriving at the bottom, it gets a slight shock and walks away, provided that the ground is fairly soft. A rat is killed, a man is broken, a horse splashes. haha thats funny as hell

i work at honda and a lady came in with her new civic saying her heater was making funny noises. so 1 of the techs stripped out most of the dash to get to all the heater parts, which is a pain to do. and inside the heater was just a mouses head n spine

the rest had been splattered around the place

ill see if he can send me the pics to put up

was gruesome

It's the other way round, everything falls at the same speed, before you factor in wind resistance.

A mouse wouldn't fall anywhere near 125mph because it's not heavy enough to overcome wind resistance, a bit like a carrier bag.

It's a lot like why you can flick really small flies and they will come out unharmed as opposed to exploding into bits, because they are so light that the stresses on their skeleton are so small.

If 2 cars are hit by a truck, one with a bare shell with just seats and wheels and the other as a full car with all the bits (and much more weight), the naked car is much more likely to stay intact, because the part of the shell which is impacted will only bend if it cannot transmit the force to the rest of the shell, which is a lot more to ask of an A-pillar or B-pillar if the car is fully laden.

What was the question again?

:lol: how the hell did it get on the bonnet :lol:
