hia i wanna buy some HID's 4 my baby mk3, and . . . i have now seen some bocsh ones 4 £70 and i wanna get em as there sorta OEM :p

so has anyone allready done this ? and if so how will they be in my lenses as they are stock and i know u should have clear lenses

if you fit them with normal lenses you will be pulled by the police as your beam pattern will be everywhere , and you could get 3 points, you need the hid kit what does high and main beam i doubt the bosch one does at that price, better off with uprated headlamps first then fit the hid kit later,

There is some people on here have you tried a search, as there is at least one person whos done it this week i think.

as for the police best bet is to adjust you headlights right down n pop to your local mot place n get them to check them for you n then u can adjust them to a safe margin

I'm thinking of doing this on mine but i have different front to you.

check my post in readers rides, as above just fit them then run them down to a garage to be adjusted the best they can. mine are hi and low beam but are still illegal. I've been past plenty of coppers and haven't been pulled,

bosch ones are the best ones you can get, if you look hard you can find a hi and low beam kit for less then £70, they come from hong kong but are all german parts, so really you cant go wrong

yeah it will be a bit but inless you have them pointed in the air you not going to blind people I've driven mine with mate coming towards me and he said there fine, hids look better in square headlights, but work better in round lights mainly for reflection i think.
