We should have a club polo rc day! haven't used mine in ages, not since I've been in guildford. Not really many places to race around here

Should set up a little race at the polo show :-D

I've often thought it would be pretty cool to have a scale RC model of your own car! has anyone thought about doing this?

Theres gotta be some scene points to be had there!!

Its ridiculously expensive for a mould to be made to produce a bodyshell for RC Cars . You normally have to send it back and forth between england and japan several times too as they are always slightly out of form in initial protatypes. I think the only VW shells available on the 10/th scale market when i looked are Bugs and Campers .

I could maybee get a stand with a few cars on show ..

Would all have to be HPI though .

Racing would be good but I'm sure you all know of the expense behind the cars unfortinatly i wouldnt let anyone drive my cars . (trying not to sound like a harsh bastard .. Fact " It si cheaper to do a seasons Karting at a high level than it is a seasons RC Car racing" )

I could posabily as said saught a display of various things inc planes and helicopters .

8-)

Haha Show and Shine ..

Il try and sort something out ..

Once we have a venue and exact date sorted out i will advise the guys of the best day to come down.

Can have a stand with a few models and a couple of guys to ansewr questions .

They visit alot of events like BTCC ect and i have family in the business too so should be rather easy .

Hpi Micro's are alright i have like 4 of them .

I would go for the mini-z though that is the offroad type micro isnt it .

Micro's are a good laugth especially with the carbon chassis and loads of batteries rammed into them .

As i have said though the offroad micro's piss all over them .

old eletric tamiya 1:10's 4x4 dunno what it is

on a rardo shell.

plastic tyres

locked rear diff

drift machine lol

i know what u mean about no where to race, i live in south east kent and the nearest place to me is barham, which isnt far really but i haven't used my rc cars cause its boring on your own even if your just messing about!

I've had about 20 rc cars in total but now I've only got 3 at the moment, they are;

-Tamiya TT01

-Team Associated TC3

-Tamiya mini

i was looking more at the normal racer style mini z, there are a couple of different types of mini z like jeep style, monster truck, 2wd car and 4wd car,

i do like the look of the hpi micro drift although 155 quid is alot of money just to waste time in work :p

cheers

I'm not a fan of Modified to be honest 19T is the best at Don Valley isnt it ..

The thing about 19T & Stock is you have to keep things so smooth ..

Much more fun to drive like that than to be on a need off the throttle like mad.

Need to get myself to DonValley again i havnt raced there in ages !

I havnt raced in ages to be honest .

yeh, 19t's more about driver ability, makes you a better driver, learn to be smooth and hit apex's

mods just madness throttle bashing, clip sumat your out and you cells get a rite beating

yes, yes you do lol, people with so much grip getting front wheels of the floor!!

I used to race at a really good club back home in norfolk really friendly and we did indoor and out door meets. My nearest club now is about 35 miles away and the track is tiny and its indoors
