He's my GT...

Had it about 6 months now. Bought this with the intention a conversion onto my mint 1.0.

I decided to keep him and make him a little nicer.. Its not a minter and very much doubt it ever will be. But its quick as hell!!

Good points: Engine is as strong as hell... 95 BHP Easy. Mechanical wise its faultless. Interior is spotless with mint bolsters too!!!

Bad points: Bodywork not mint, but my friends say I'm picky! Its a 18 year old car at the end of the day!

Exterior: FF Sunroof (soon to be tilt and slide conversion) De-beadged grill, Rear and front GT badged sprayed red with 'Coupe' in red underneath both, new red piping in bumpers, clear front indicators front and side, all red rear lights, uprated phillips extreme bulbs and LED sidelights and rear numberplate lights, single wiper conversion.

Wheels/Tyres: 13x7 Powertech mangles in chrome with 175/40 dunlops SP2000's

Brakes: G40 Calipers, brembo Max discs, EBC Greenstuff pads, fully rebuilt drums and a 22mm master cylinder.

Suspension, Wietech fronts 60mm drop, bilstien rears, 50mm Drop. Ged front brace and rear anti-roll bar

Engine: Serviced every 6k, Rebuilt top end, new headgasket, waterpump, timing belt, every electronic sensor and earth re-newed, solid gearbox mount, S-Spec stainless Steel induction kit, Golf GTi Coil, Uprated HT Leads, Bosch Super 4's, Golf GTi AFM (set up correctly), Webber adjustable fuel pressure regulator with 0.3Bar fuel increase at 6,000RPM, G40 Inlet mannifold and cut out cat, P&P throttle body, de-wedged with smoothed out and de-restriced throttle body elbow, removed charcoal canister, 8k Rev chip, powerflow exhaust (catback) with powerflex hangers all round.

Pics: All taken with a standard sony digital camera!
