it does comply with the MOT law :s alot of people here are talking about mrk 3s, the dront indicator on a mark 4 comes round the side of the car alot more than a mark 3, just let the insurance the they are smoothed out and your insurance will be fine.

My tester is an 'arse' he hates my car, the bonnet extension covers the headlights too much and interferes with the beam pattern slightly, got a de-cat on there and now no side reps!!!

But I understand where there coming from, they just want normal standard cars coming in and out, job done!

Its risk in their eyes as they could potentially loose there MOT testing right if they pass something that’s not road worthy (well... that’s what they tell me anyway)!!

I've got a mk4 n my testers wont take any chances as if they are caught letting a car through a mot n its not legal they WILL lose there testing certificate.. not really a case of being a arse..lol.

i haven't got standard headlights so u can only see a reflection of the front repeater which isnt good enough. they try there best to help me round things but wont risk losing there jobs or business.. fair enough really.

nice if u can find someone who will pass it tho.
