Anyone? Please......

Do you really need the shorter ratios or would an 8P do? The other alternative is the mk4 boxes. I have a CWN in the Golf, which has GT ratios with the shortest final drive.

Its to go in my 1litre Mk1 polo (not golf) - So yea i think the shorter ratios are the better option!!!

**BUMP**

Do you want to cruise and get good economy or performance? Mine came from a 1.0 mk4 Polo. Only thing with the mk4 boxes is the flange and seal extension on the driverside need to be removed. Only takes 5 mins, but it opens up your options as the small engined mk4's are quite common in scrapyards.

Got one out of a 1.3 MK2 if thats any good to you.

Good Economy is all I'm after - Poor thing reeving away all the time in 4th getting annoying on motorway journeys to shows..

Mk4 gearbox maybe an option cheers...
