started refurbing my somewhat tired looking teardrops today

thing is I'm not sure if the teardrops and the centres would look better black, let me know what you think!

gonna laquer them tomorrow so long as the weather hold out!

I have a set, which i was thinking of polishing out the tears on and having everything but the very outer lip black. A lass that was at the local dubgen meet had the very outer lip polished but gun-metal grey everything else.. looked really subtle.

I think the tears should be polished, but maybe paint the centres

a tricky one, so many options.. looking good so far though

its just a quick refurb to get them into a condition where i can sell them on! still got to paint the edges in (they are hand painted if you havnt already guessed!) once they are flated and laquered though you'd be hard pushed to tell if they were hand painted.

I'm just not sure i like the silver tears and centres. was thing bout doing them all black with just the outer rim in silver

really liking them do you have centre caps?

Dont bother with centre caps in my opinion, get the small ones for the centres and keep that paintjob, looks sweet!! Tho u might want to mask the edges before u paint or user a finer brush around the edges lol

keep the drops in original, and all else but the tiny edge lip in matt black!!

i hadnt finished that one! just wanted some ideas before i finished it!

well i decided to ditch the silver teardrops and centre and just went black! was a bit cold today, but i managed to get them laquered with a bit of help from a heatgun! here they are! all done
