Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a Mk2 Polo (carb) in need of a replacement fuel tank.

Any pointers as to where I can locate one for sub £50???

Hi - Thxs.

Not sure if they are compatable as the Mk3 versions are for non-carb engines only (???)

Otherwise would be interested ...

I will be taking my tank off my mk2 coupe S when i do my GT conversion. Its in good condition. If you can wait a couple of weeks max??

have a see if anyone knows but in sure they're the same.

Injection and carbed tanks are piped differently (I can't remember the details, but I think the carbed engines have 2 more pipes).

There are two sorts of mk2 tank, small and large. I think the changeover from small to large was 1984.

Hi

No hurry, looking to fix over Easter.

How much you want for it and any idea what the p&p will be from West Yorks to Bedford?

Bit of a Catch-22, I won't know what it looks like until I take it off!

I'm going to err on the side of caution and stick with a Mk2 sourced unit.

Cheers - M
