Hi there

I have a Mk2 polo saloon and the downpipe and rear silencer have started to blow.

My question to you all is,

a, Do you know the part codes of the parts in question.

b, Is there a difference between the rear silencer on the "hatchback" (squareback) to the saloon?

only on GSF it has no "Saloon" only rear silencers, just "hatchback" ones??

Has anyone changed theirs, if so what parts did you use and more importantly how much did it cost?!

I believe the exhaust system is the same APART from the rear box. The saloon has a much longer section after the silencer due to the increased over hang of the car.

Yeah, as far as I'm aware coupe/square/saloon exhaust are all the same except for the tailpipe lengths. Coupe being the shortest, then square, then saloon.
