Del had short plates on the G for a while, got them off dubmeister.

You can only get them on a 3-3 number plate i think.

whats a 3-3 plate ross? dels are the ones i had in mind. do you know what size they were? although he may have had less numerics than me allowing him to have a shorter one. i have 6 numerics

3-3 meaning a 6 digit plate. Sorry i should have clarified that, as dels was J64 YAO.

Not sure on the exact dimensions of the plate but it looks really good on the back, i wasn't so keen on the front as obviously it didn't fill the mk3 bumper recess so the new owner put on a full length one which looked better imo.

So it really depends which car its going on.

On dubmeister you can get them german font or just Uk pressed which is what we both went with. And you can buy them as singles or as a set whether that be two short plates, two long plates or one short and the other long. There are plenty of options available.

Those plates will really suit your car, though I'm not sure about at the back mate?

thanks for the info ross, i talked to dubmiester and they actually own platemyride.com and suggested i use that as it was more user friendly!. my plate will also be 6 digits. mk1 golfs have a number plate bracket, so i can just cut it down to fit on it but it might look a little strange on the back.

Dubmeister would be the one.

If its for a Mk1 Golf, i think the front one would look sweet set across to the side of the bumper.
