does anyone know the code for the gearbox off a 1.6 8v mk4? i need mine replacing and have rang a scrappy but they asked for the code.

i would go find out for myself but I'm at uni, and my car is at home!

if anyone could get it for me id be very gratefull

My 96 1.6 has DKE code gearbox if this helps, i think there are a few codes which will fit

The DCC and ERD are fitted to 1.6 8V's too.
