hahaha that looks AWFUL!

Aww, I was expecting to see 17s on your breadvan :(

yea boi!

With a standard bonnet and smoked indicators and side repeaters that would look good IMO

love that polo, i remember when it was on the bay ages ago, sold cheap as fuck iirc, wheels would suit a lot better in 15'' tho, kinda reminds me of mine old one...

Haha, I remember the days when you'd have been applauded for that! I don't reckon it looks too bad, but I can't imagine it's much fun to drive like that. Looks a little like a photoshop actually.

Oh dear Scott!

It's funny...

...but it def. doesn't look good!

oh man that looks bad! love the colour of the car though

I can't see one thing about them photo's I like. :(

me too :paranoid:

if it is real, it looks pretty cool

I think you could pull of 16s but 17s is pushing it!

yeah me too, remember max power years ago with stuff like "worlds first metro on 19s!!!" as if it was a good thing!

mk2 polo coupe used to be at bluewater meets on 16s, that actually looked quite cool.

CHRIST. It looks so wrong that I thought it was a photoshop!

I'm sure 6r4's have been cramming 17's and 18's on since i can remember.

thats technically a metro.

ok but be fair, you could fit a small country under the arches of a 6R4, and still have room for a 90mm drop.

I think there is enough clearance underneath that polo for a fox !

Nick.

6R4 are the dogs bollox best rally car ever thats why there band a 3.0L jag engine in a bake bean tin feckin awesome invention.

I know of a mk3 on 16's and it looks just right. They were fitted to make the gearing a lot taller

I've seen a few mk3s on 16s. The design of the wheel is crucial imo. Wrong design and they look way to big!

I like that, the colour of the wheels goes well with the colour of the car.

Mine just looked GAY when I put 17s on

That one actually almost suits it though....but still looks pretty bad.

i dont know what i was expecting when i clicked the link but it werent that.

i remember that mk3 with audi something wheels on it an it looked proper rank but thts not to bad.

any more pics of the rest of the car?

The fact the mounting face of the wheel is larger than the brake disc is a giveaway to the fact that car was not designed for 17s

The big givaway for me was the fact the car couldnt move. the rear wheels had got stuck on the shock absorber, you could only turn the wheel 3quarters the way round and foot to the board in first was pathetic when i did get it going on the 2 front ones hehe.
