I thought it would be a good idea to have one place to post everyones RR graphs and list the mods so people can see what works well with the G40 engine. Hopefully this will stop all the "I've fitted furry dice, how much power does that give me now" threads lol

Please list the following,

Induction> Air filter type, manifold used, throttle body used, any porting carried out

Type of forced induction> G40, G60, Eaton, turbo etc

Pulley> Size and type

Cylindor head> Standard, ported and polished, Big valve etc

Camshaft> standard or make and duration

Exhaust Manifold> Standard or 4 branch (which make?)

Exhaust system> Size and make

Fuelling> ECU used, injectors used, chip used

Headgasket> Standard or metal

Pistons> Standard cast 1272cc, 1341cc forged etc

Rods> standard??

Crank> Standard??

Flywheel> Standard or lightened

My blue G40 a couple of years ago, now standard again.

Induction> Large induction K&N cone air filter, GT inlet manifold, de wedged stock throttle body.

Type of forced induction> G40 Full blend

Intercooler> Standard.

Pulley> 65mm Toothed pulley kit.

Cylindor head> Standard

Exhaust Manifold> Standard

Exhaust system> Stock decat downpipe and mid section. Custom stainless backbox.

Fuelling> Stock ECU and injectors with Poloace chip.

Headgasket> Standard

Pistons> Standard cast 1272cc

Rods> standard

Crank> Standard

Flywheel> Standard

This was a tight 32k miles engine, so not much loss through transmission etc.

This was in my old "LregG" that luke (ahh claudia) now owns, the engine lives on in the beige beast which i still own

Induction> Large induction K&N cone air filter, port matched GT inlet manifold, 51mm throttle body.

Type of forced induction> Eaton

Intercooler> AW tracksport

Pulley> Toothed pulley kit

Cylindor head> Standard

Camshaft> Standard

Exhaust Manifold> Standard

Exhaust system> Stock decat downpipe and 63mm bastuck system, single silencer

Fuelling> Stock ECU, green injectors and a PSD remap with an sns stage V base code

Headgasket> Standard

Pistons> Standard cast 1272cc

Rods> standard

Crank> Standard

Flywheel> Lightened

189bhp and 162lb/ft of torque which was not bad considering the amount of standard parts still on the car

Two examples which demonstrate the differing torque/power of the Eaton vs. G40 induction...much more progressive on the Eaton...big LUMP in the G40!

That is right tav, the G40 torque comes in hard and low and tails off early whereas the eaton is more progressive and it holds on until high up the rev range before it starts to drop off alot. Due to this the eaton was easier to pull away in without massive amounts of torque/wheelspin

Pulley> 65mm toothies

Camshaft> standard

Exhaust Manifold> 4 branch PSD

Exhaust system> 63mm bastuck, twin silencer

Fuelling> PSD chip not a custom map, standard injectors

Headgasket> Standard

Pistons> Standard cast 1272cc

Rods> standard

Crank> Standard

Flywheel> Standard

i cant find my print out from 06 but without the toothies, 4 branch and GT inlet, but running a 65mm pulley it made 144bhp

this year i was hoping for more like 175+ with the addition of green injectors, vernier pulley, shrick 252/276 cam, custom PSD remap and a fresh charger
