Is the V5 issue date and the date of first registration the same thing. Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers

I would assume so unless the V5 has been lost and reapplied for.

I don't think it would be but the v5 does contain the registration date on it, Section 4b. and 4b.1

Each V5 has a unique serial no.

The issue date refers to the date that particular V5 was issued. Date of 1st registration is when the car was 1st registered
