A brief spec because there too much to list:

PSD 1341 conversion, forged pistons, big valve head, lightened flywheel, PSD intercooler and turbo conversion, custom remap, helix paddle clutch, 51mm throttle body, gt inlet manifold, PSD exhaust system and FK coilovers.

I've got more stuff I want to do but for now it's fine as it is, it goes very well :-D

Thats sweet!

Are they RH Toplines?!?

maaaa the old skooby arguement...

if the turbs set up right a scoob wunt stand a chance...

ma mates old turb killed an evo n it was only runnin 178bp....clutch was slippin big time...

Looks like a nice install.

What sort of turbo set up are you running...got the dump valve + water cooling etc. all plumbed up...apprently a lot of people don't use them?

The Polo is quite a bit faster than the R32 :-D

Just the usual Ko3 setup, no dump valve yet but I will be putting one on sometime.

Looks awesome and i bet it goes some!

Where did you get the lightened flywheel from? or is it a machined down standard one?

did the bvh make a big difference?

Cheers

Chris

pimp ste gutted i dint catch u before you ledt the RR day ste really wante a spinin the beasty!

PSD have done a cracking install there....real nice sleeper look to it! 8-)

Nice Ste- you sorted the leaking oil drain??

I'd put dump valve and water cooling on as a priority- shame the PSD turbo conversions leave this out.

Looks nice anyway 8-)

Cool! I didn't even know you were planning this, thought you still had an eaton on there.

Looks sweet Ste love it 8-)

Very nice engine spec that! 8-)

As Pete said, get the dump valve and water cooling on ASAP.

Have you had it on a rolling road yet? With that spec it should be circa 200+bhp?

Who did the big valve head, PSD?

Cheers,

Richard.

The flywheel is a PSD one. I don't know how much of a difference the bvh makes because I had the engine rebuild and turbo all done at the same time, but it does pull like train :-D

Not yet, need to have a look what to do with it.

Hopefully getting it on the rollers soon, hoping for over 200bhp, the head was done by PSD too

hmm i spoke to steve about a bvh and he said it was around the 600 mark. it would have to make a big ol difference for me to shed more money out. i think ill prob leave it for the mo.

How much was the flywheel? and do you know how much lighter it is?

What boost are you running too?

Cheers

Chris

Forgot all about this but the head must make a big difference because I had an eaton on before this and when Steve mapped it i'm sure he said something like the head stopped flowing about 6k rpm but not now it keeps going past 7.5k rpm so yeah it's worth doing if you can.

Flywheel was just over 100 quid I think, not sure what it weighs and I've no boost guage so not sure what boost it's running.

hmm damn! I'm eaton atm and is going for mapping soon.

its a ported head atm, was yours a standard head?

mine is going to be running a fair bit of boost (aka near 22psi is what has been previously recorded)

Will try to get hold of steve and ask about flywheel have lightened and balanced bottom end so a lightened flywheel would top it off.

Id love a BVH but it is a lot of money! If anyone has one they want to sell feel free to let me know!

Cheers Ste

good spec that, what kind of boost pressure are you running?? 19psi??
