It's not the easiest colour to match

Can go edge to edge with that colour in Dupont but its still going to need the full doors and quarters clearcoated minimum because theres no good swedge lines to local it to.

If your getting bumpers done id get the full sides done anyway and that should ensure a good match to all panels.

Maybe you could get some colour coded 6n2 bumpstrips if you don't want to respray?

i shall get caramel wheel and giv it a blast, but I'm gettin new front a rear bumpers which shall have to go to the body shop for painting so may just get them to flash over themarks neways

cheers guys

its a right piss take and rather anoying tho tbf

Dan

i have done this on my black valver & the same have happened, i have white marks & a lacquer line where the bottom of the strip was, pulled the lacquer off as i pulled the strip off

can i just ask did you use a card between the door & strip when you did this?

you are a genius, i jst 4, yeah i did, n the card bends so rubs along the paint work, right????

lol

tht what you are gonna say???

cheers Dan

well the white strip on the back of the card has probably rubbed the paintwork like mine did? i haven't had a go at polishing it yet tho, but getting the feeling it may be a bodyshop job, as 1 side is alot worse than the other

could this the same for you?!

this is really weird because i had no problems with my old red mk4

i'll have to get some pics up at weekend

why dont you just put colour coded bump strips on since it looks shag and paints going to cost a lot?
