Roll Cage

Featured Replies

simple as, i'm just going to save a grand up then send it in,

like with most thing you 'you get what you pay for' and unless your willing to do a bit of jiggery pokery with a cheaper cage then your a bit out of luck,

cheaper option = requires work

save and pay more = get a top nice fitting cage.

don't know how hard it is to get into your heads guys, like with my arches, i paid £1000 for full metal arche extensions, top dollar, top job! they are just as strong as the original arch.

Most of these people have bought a Polo because they cant afford much else. If I had a £1000 to fork out then great, I would, but I am currently doing my ASs at boarding school and do not have a job. I wont see £1000 in the next 6 years.

BUT. I can weld, I'm confident with my fabrication, I can get hold of a cheap OMP cage. Are you saying I'm bodging it? Having spent 4 months installing it properly I should very much hope not. Get what you pay for isn't only monetary, I've put hours and hours into installing it how I want it.

Your arches look excellent by BTW, which I could have mine done like that!

i picked up a safety devices rear half cage (was a 6point but the guy neaver had the front bars) for £77 with two 3point harnesses

there really i bargin's out there if you dig deep.. lol

'If you'd like to bring your van round the back we can load it up'.

'Erm, we're actually in a Volvo estate'

*skeptical look*

'Wellllllllll give it a go bu we close at 5!'

Was made even trickier by the 205 on trailer behind us, and the the thunder storm around us :p
