To be honest I'm very tempted to do it with riveted arches like above. A proper stripped out little beast, 2 race seats in the front, coilies, and my GT engine with a lot more work. Not now, but at some point in the near future it may well happen. For now i'll just enjoy the white bastard.

Oh, and perhaps 8j wheels front and 10's at the back?

To build the car you described then Sam would take some serious cashflow!! I think your student loan would disappear faster than Gary glitters internet history. Try and make a wide mk3 coupe work. People say you can't but i want to see it.

Only problem with that car is it would get broken into on a daily basis and if not it would be keyed and vandalised for being different. I would have a barbed wire fence installed!!
