Nothing to update on the car really.

Hoping to reshell the GT lump next year, 1.4 ABD would be nice. Got a few ideas up my sleeve too!

if your gonna stick an adb in why not just sell the gt and buy a gt injection setup? you'd probably make a few quid out of it doing it that way.

A complete GT injection setup can go for bloody good money Jon.

Loom, ecu, clocks. fuel pumps, ISV, thermostat housing, rear axle with ARB, GT cam, Inlet manifold... the list goes on. At least i have full access to these parts and I know they fully work.

Was back at my parents' over the weekend and pretty sure they want shot of the Rotting GT on their drive.

Dad was like, 'put your new engine in it' thinking I had removed half of it, he didn't realise that it still runs.

Basically, all I need to get it back on the road is a set of TCA's [got a new pair] ARB bushes [Got G-Laderseite blocks, need new bolts] and an exhaust system with hanger.

May need a new interior but that's the least of my worries.

Will replace the brakes, track rod ends and the above and get her through an MOT and use her! May even sort the bodywork out too...

Been thinking about this mini project a lot over the last couple of weeks.

Bought a couple of decent parts that should get the best out of the car:

Firstly a Schrick 268/268 Cam that should hopefully get me into the mid 90's in terms of BHP.

Secondly a set of Powerflex TCA bushes; inner and outer.

Just need to get a cambelt, waterpump headgasket and exhaust hanger panel from VW anda set of headbolts and get it all together and the engine is done.

Need to get some new brake fluid and pads and I should be ready for an MOT!
