I am selling my polo gt/genesis, reason i say this is because its a mystery, on v5 document it says genesis, but insurance company says its a gt, but it does have all the gt exterior trim and interior and its all original.

The Cars History

The car has only had 4 previous owners, 2 of them are good friends of mine the first bought it as it had a fueling problem and he had the intention of fixing it but couldnt solve it, the next friend bought it from him and replaced the lift pump and all fuel lines and now it all runs fine, the first owner was an old woman who had it from new. I have owned the car from november and its been used daily and never let me down, since i have owned it its had an oil change, new air filter and new spark plugs. It starts first time every time, and i have never had any problems. Only thing i havnt got round to is changing the front wheel baring, it makes a humming noise when driving along.

Only done 86,500miles from new, Mot and Tax until end of may

This is a perfect car for anyone, its nippy around town and does easily 90mph along the motorway, for those that are always in a hurry, its cheap to insure and run as £10 gets me over 100miles, no lie!! has a 4speed gearbox so its rather torque

The Cars Condition

The interior is in mint condition, no rips or faded materials, everything looks like new, no scratches or scuffs on dash board. The exterior has small car park dinks here and there nothing major, the petrol cap needs sprayed back to original colour, and the only other thing is there are 2 small patches on the bonnet where the laquer has started to peel, but its not bad, all the trim still looks new and isnt sun faded like most cars this old. In general is a really tidy car, and looks nearly new when its washed. There is no rust at all on this car, its been kept in good condition.

no problems mechanically and never broke down

2 patches of laquer peeling on bonnet

needs new wheel bearing

has too many good points lol

Just to let you know it's just a genesis not a GT. It would say if it was a GT on the V5. And I'm sure GT's were never fitted with 4speed boxes.

Looks like a Genesis! They came with the GT/G40 arches, rev counter and other bits and bobs!

Defiantely mate, not worth much more than £300-350 with the relatively short t&t and need for wheel bearing sorting

Saw this on ebay, looks like someone got half way to doing the GT conversion.

Definetly not worth 800

Might get 450 for it if its mint inside and relative outside.

Is definately a Genesis. V5 said genesis and I insured it as a Genesis.
