Hi there, I am sad to be selling my VW 1.0L Polo Boulevard. It will be appearing on ebay some point next week I will add a link to the site, I just thought I should offer it to everyone here first.

About the car:

The car is an L reg with 103,000 miles. It has MOT up to October 2008 and is taxed until end March 2008. The car has had a lot of work done to it as I was planning on keeping it. It has had the cylinder head and timing belt both replaced, both very expensive jobs that normally people don't do before selling, recently a rear suspension spring and the front windscreen wipers have been replaced. I have also added a new cd/mp3/radio player aswell as 2 new alpine speakers! The car is in good condition and the bodywork is nice, it is black and really shines when it is polished! The car is very cheap to insure, tax and run. This makes a great buy for a first car or for a Polo enthusiast! The car has Volkswagen official seats which have " Volkswagen " written accross them in different colours, I have a feeling these may be limited edition seats! The car ALWAYS starts, even in freezing cold conditions! The car has 4 gears and a reverse gear. The car has it's registration number etched onto almost every thing that could be stolen making it less likely to be a victim of theft! There are two models of Polo with the L reg, this is the most recent of the two. Because I really liked the car I and wanted to keep it I also bought a really nice VW shiney metal twist tax disc holder, it was hard to get a good picture of it but it is there, there is also a phone holder clipped onto the dashboard! As I no longer drive a VW I don't suppose that it is any use to me :(.

As I want this to be an honest sale I will now write about all the negative points of the car.

I managed to put a dent / rather large scratch above the right wheel arch when reversing it into my drive, there is even a scratch on the post where it was done. This has created no mechanical problems at all it is totally cosmetic and the rest of the car condition is good.

The tyre tread it low on the tyres, they are all legal but they should be soon replaced, especially as it is winter!

The rear right wheel bearing is slightly off, and according to a recent MOT the break pipes are slightly corroded. Neither of these are expensive jobs and are expected on a car of this age.

There is a very slight leak that only seems to happen when taken throught the car wash. It is on ther drivers side door. It has NEVER leaked when raining. I think this may just need a new seal or something for the top of the door, surely a cheap job... but as I don't put it through the car wash often I never bothered to fix it. It doesnt leak in rain.

Overall, this is a reliable, looked after car. The cylinder head and timing belt are probably the most expensive jobs that could ever come up for the car, they have both been done, you will not find many others that have had this recently done! The interior is in great condition and can come with a CD/MP3/Radio player if the price is right. The car is great for getting around town. It is a must see. As soon as I get home I will add pictures below as soon as I get home.

As it has had lots of work done on the car, I am looking to get around £650 for it, if I get that price then I will include the CD/MP3/Radio player aswell as the 2 Alpine speakers!
