With my old Punto I left my radiator cap on the engine cover after topping off the coolant at work. It lasted until half-way back to work the next morning before boiling it all off and overheating and while I was waiting for Mr RAC I got a text from my mate who found the cap in the car park and was wondering if it was mine.

And there's the usual keys in the front door, keys in the car door, house windows left open while on holiday, etc.

Ahhh, the joys of being perfect in every single way.... :paranoid:

Yes, except for when you poured in that nice fresh oil the other day.... but forgot one vital part. The sump plug! Should have taken more pictures of the oil all over the floor really.

I bought another Saxo VTR.

Have left the oil filler cap off once and forgot to tighten a wheel but thats about it.

Drained the oil on my old GT, then while it was draining changed the plugs, leads, dizzy cap and rotor arm.

Went inside for a drink, came back out and thought I'd start it to see if everything was ok. Started fine, I let it run for a good 30 seconds before I remembered it had no oil!! Oops...

(didn't seem to hurt it though!)

No matter how much oil I spill I'll always have 4 cylinders 8-)

tryed to burnout and drift my old mans old 4wd TT

clutch did not like that

then my brother had a go  lol

put diesel in my bike :)

locked my keys inside the petrol flap in my old bug  Left them in the cap then shut the flap over them, had to get the spare set from home to open the door and pull the release

i drove to a motorbike test centre in my car, did my test, passed the put my helmet on top of the car as i was getting in.

i was on the phone telling my dad i passed and forgot it was on the roof. drove about 2 miles and it didnt come off. then sped up as the road gets faster and off comes my new foggy replica helmet scuttling along the road bouncing around. absoloutly gutted!!

forgotton to do the wheel bolts up once that was sketchy as fuck! used to always forget to lock it and left the sunroof open once or twice in the summer dont know how but i did lol

Locked myself out the house once while washing the polo, my car keys were indoors too and the car was unlocked so had to wait 7 hours for my dad to get home from work

Forgot my headlights a long time ago. Now I check the switch about every 3 minutes even when it's daytime :retard:

forgot which was my spray and which was full beam so just randomly flashing about 10 people until I realised.

once left some flapjack and a can of coke on the roof and drove 5 miles up to 60mph and they were still there :D

my mate drove about 20miles with no lights at 11pm threw two towns thinking people were being weird waving at him, until he got to the country and realised it was pitch black haha.

nothing drastic as of yet tho. touch wood.

Wheel not tightened properly

Haha I did that once! Worrying really...

Also expansion tank cap, I repeatedly forget to put it back on lol

Didn't shut my boot properly and flew open at 70mph on a duel carrageway and all my shit fell out on the road!

same to me, but not a dual carriage way at 70, luckly just pulling away fast at traffic lights

"whoosh- wow, my exhaust sounds loud *looks in rear mirror* oh shit"

forgetting to put coolant in after I emptied it

locking keys in the car

forgetting to lock the car

not plugging indicators back in

leaving handbrake off then removing the chocks to find the car rolling back down the yard, had to open the door and slam the handbrake on, that hurt my arm :(

i had just got my mini ready for the mot and asked my dad to take it to get mot'd whilst iwas at work just as i got to work my dad phoned up and said i had forgot to put the seat belts in lol

trying to tighten the wheel bolts with the handbrake off, it's a gravel drive so the car wasn't moving...until I started to try and turn the bolt and it begins rolling down towards the road

driving around for an entire day with a set of spanners on the scuttle panel, also had a stubby philips screwdriver resting on there for about a week :/

leaving windows down when washing the car, just enough so it isn't noticeable from the outside but enough to well and truly fill the car with water :D

pushing and steering an old MG into a unit, realised there wasn't room for me and the car to get through the door..but by that time there was no chance of stopping it - my leg sandwiched between a spoked wheel and a brick wall, that stung
