sinspeed mod chip

Featured Replies

hi guys just got thru the sinspeed mod chip thing, i can see its basically just a piggback resister but i only paid a fiver for it off ebay. anyways it says to fit it to the intake sensor plug, which one is that? I've taken my airbox off and theres a few plugs which are coming out of breather tube so i didnt want to just plug it into any. oh yeah its a 6n2, any help will be greatly appreciated and will obvioulsy let u know wether it gives the 25 bhp gain it boasts, i doubt it tho

if you gain 25bhp i will burn my balls off

I dont think you need to let us know- it wont.

Id seriously try to make you think otherwise about putting that "chip" on, probably a good thing that your not sure where to put it.

Just whack it in the bin! All it does is burn more fuel to make up for "supposed" changes in air temp and thats not a good thing really.

Get a Fahrvergnugen Tuning chip off here if a chips what you want!

reason for edit - learnt how to spell...

fair one, the old gti aint the most economical at the best of times anyway, did have my doubts about it. might just try it with and without just for a giggle, still got no idea where it goes tho

yeah, sorry cant help with that, did it on a friends 106 a year or so back, fairly shit results though

just dont want someone to knacker a perfectly good gti engine s'all! :p

Please don't put it on, it will not give you anything, and if it does it will be at the expense of the engine's permanent health over a fairly short period of time.

These things only sell because people don't have any reservations about trying them because they're so cheap, it's not the end of the world if it doesn't work. But all they are selling you is an overpriced resistor labelled as an ECU modifier.

put it on to try it out, hardly any difference, only slighty quicker acceleration like u guys said not worth the damage it could cause so came straight back off again. cheers tho!

p.s ****selling**** nearly new ecu modifier! barely road legal performance upgrade, easy to fit. gives engine benefits only ecu remaps can give which can cost ££££'s! rock bottom price. contact me for details please be patient for my reply as i expect a lot of interest in this! ;)
