basically need to change the height a little bit on my coilovers (phillj)

i got the one c spanner he supplied, and can i do it whilst on the car?

and guessing clockwise would lower it?

me and my mate made the height what we wanted befor we put it on, so yeah can i do it whilst on the car?

yes you can just need the wheels off

jsut today they were mad tighht when i went to do it.

how can i work out how much I'm raising it etc as no markers?

Haha, just try it abit at a time i dont think for example 10mm on the adjuster means 10mm in real arch to tyre gap, or does it?.....

I can pretty easily adjust the fronts with the wheels on, backs I have no chance though. I've never used the spanners either. The rings are so free and greasy i can just twist with my hands.

^^ shouldnt be like that mate they need to be tight , thats why you have two ring so you can do one up againts the other

yeah u can, as said before need wheels off on the back but on the front u can do it with just a jack, also they are chuffing hard dont forget you are fighting against that ruddy great spring, the back driver side is exra fun as a big lump of tank stops u from getting full turn with the spanner!

I do make sure they are quite tight, but I was told that they just need to be touching each other, I didn't know they lock into each other.

but you can oly get them hand tight which is nothing in comparison to what you can get with the c spanners

ohrite ill use the spanners next time. I didn't use my hands because I thought it would be enough and I would get away with it, i genuinley thought that that's all I had to do. I've only had them on for 2 weeks so they are still new to me and I'm still getting used to them.

learn from your mistakes and move on mate youll no next time... gives you sumin to do at the wekend too.. go tighten all them rings

My mate never uses c-spanners. Just locks them together hand tight. Not had any problems with it so far!

I always do mine with a c-spanner though. I'd rather parts of my suspension don't fall off, lol.
