Think you'll find that's just the plug from which they make the mould to produce the real thing :lol:

surely the mdf is a template for the real fibre glass shell, good job btw

that work is amazing ivew just looked through the whole thread and his work is amazing!

he has done pretty well there.I'm a carpenter and id give him a big pat on the back and what a wicked outcome too

top work there, making that mould from wood then to a propper bumper, well good.....not a bad outcome too

its not mdf anyways it 5 layer plyboard.there aint alot of mdf there.just ply and some pine shoudnt blow.theres a couple bit of thin sheet mdf there but its been fibregallsed and sprayed so should be fine...looks awesome in my opinion

well these cars were made with a fibreglass bodyshell and a plywood chassis

try telling morgan, yet another crazy british sportscar manufacturer who like making their chasis from wood!

That's just because they are traditionalists...you wouldn't see them making a new model out of wood...surely?

Aero 8 had no structural wood in it.
