For sale is my 97 P 1.8i MGF. I used to have a polo 16v openair on here and basically i want another! miss it too much - just love the dubs!

Quick spec and recent history of the car...

Car millage aprox 69,000, but engine millage aprox 39,000 (this is because i had an engine transplant a few thousand miles ago with a reconditioned engine)

The head gasket then went on the reconditioned engine so this work was then carried out ( this is a common fault on these cars but once the problem has been fixed it is extremely rare for it to happen again). Also full new clutch!!

Full red leather interior

Recently new roof

4 new tyres (only done about 1000 miles)

Believe it has fsh but i will check this.

Parking sensors

Tonou cover for roof - red to match interior

Sony Cd player with additional speakers put just behind the headrests so you can actually hear the radio well at high speeds with the roof down on the motorway!

The private plate doesnt come with it sorry.

The car is rarely used now as i work in the city centre of leicester and use the bus so it is sat here doing nothing apart from a sunday drive to stretch her legs!

might be a bit hard to sell with no seats I'm afraid sorry! they are wicked though - the guy before had them done and they are in mint condition.

its a strange colour that i dont see too often with this car - its charcoal! gonna sound obvious but i'll say it anyway... its like really dark grey!

works well with the red interior, and was debating getting a red roof for the winter at some point but then i didnt have a spare few hundred layin about!

oh and bump!!

oh and sorry its the 1.8 not the vvc - i was told for the extra insurance it wasnt worth it
