My New G40

Featured Replies

Picked the car up in Portsmouth on Monday night with Bennett and drove her home on tuesday morning. The guy bought it for £2600 back in october, drove it once, took the numberplate off it (G40 HAH), then punted it to me for £2100. Totally mint with no rust on it what so ever.

Stage 4 charger, 65mm pulley and chip, Koni shocks and springs and a lairy powerflow exhaust. Inside theres Audioscape doorpods, Alpine CD player with 6 disc changer, Genesis Profile 4 amp and a Pheonix Gold Sub.

Totally chuffed with it, so heres some pics...

Got lots more bits to go onto her, including my GT inlet, ported TB, 4 branch and some powdercoated engine parts soon....

Will keep this updated :)

overall looks in very good nick

That looks right mint. Liking the zorst too. Does that go round the spare wheel well or has the well been cut n shut?

Quite afew G's are changing hands at the mo.

^^^would lookcut n shut because of were the spare wheel is??? i may be wrong tho

colour looks wicked.

Looks smart, really like that colour aswell

Wow, she looks good!

What happened with your white G? And do you know, where my old Revolution wheels are now?

Del sold the revolution wheels to someone on Club Polo I believe.

The exhaust goes around the spare wheel well...it's been lifted slightly...so it's still there but the wheel now sits partially in the boot. The rear silencer sits parallel with the rear bumper. Exhaust looks good in the pictures but it's a bit Marmite in real life...who ever had it fitted though did a really cracking job...same with audio install, mint. Car looks in great condition inside and out...it's pretty nippy too! Never been one for the audio gear but it's pretty cool having some serious bass pounding along in the back of the car.

It's nice to have the Polo contingent in Aberdeen back to full strength with a new G40.

Pearl Grey ftw.

Very nice looking car!

Thanks! Yeah I'm not too keen on the exhaust, although, i've seen worse! Will be changing back to my old backbox soon

love it.. pictures look a lot better on here as they haven't been facking resized like on eastside.

Exhaust is marmite. Feel sorry for the people who were put off by the exhaust in the adverts on pistonheads as they have genuinely missed out on a mint car.

The body work is cracking!

That looks super tidy, I want a pearl grey one so badly :(

fucking amazing NFT

brilliant. should be smart as..

reminds me I've still got the rear axle to do.

i really should have kept the rear beam off of the last car, but storage space was becoming a problem. Need to order some gaskets and so on too. Let the wallet bashing commence
